EXHIBITION: Pietro Zuffi A scenographer between the staircase and cinecittà

A set designer between La Scala and Cinecittà ”, organized by the" Segni del Moderno "association. The exhibition presents, through approximately 150 works, the life of one of the greatest geniuses of the dynamic arts of the twentieth century. From the artist - who was the set designer, costume designer, screenwriter, director, graphic designer, painter, decorator - from the monumental stage costumes of Maria Callas, Ebe Stignani, Pavarotti, can be admired for theatrical sets made for the Theaters La Scala, the Piccolo and Cinecittà ; from the avant-garde paintings and linocuts, to the interiors designed for large cruise ships and the tables dedicated to the Chinese Horoscope, which Missoni uses to make fabrics.

A stunning exhibition on one of the most important and multi-faceted artists of the last century and that the Cassa di Risparmio di Imola Foundation (which took over the acquisition of Pietro Zuffi's private archive) donates to the city on the centenary of the birth of artist from Imola.
