Red Color Experience

A journey through the many shades of Red, in its socio-cultural meanings and in its expressions in the field of fashion.

An interesting exhibition promoted by the municipality of Carpi with the contribution of Fondazione CR Carpi and Carpi Fashion System and created by Manuela Rossi in collaboration with Modateca Deanna.

During the exhibition you can admire up to about 40 dresses, starting from the haute couture creations of the 1940s. You will have the opportunity to live a real experience through color, through creations, revealing the many historical and profound meanings, often contradictory to each other, of the red.

There are real islands in the beautiful Renaissance bays of Palazzo dei Pio, with creations on mannequins, hanging knitted garments, installations of objects, videos and interactive areas.

You can admire elegant evening or day dresses: from the knit dress of Pierre Cardin in Burberry, from Giorgio Armani to Blumarine from Carpi until you reach the essential red Valentino.

The installation of fashion at the museums of Palazzo dei Pio will be open from 1 December 2017 until 28 January 2018.
