From December 8 to May 1 at Palazzo Collicola reopens to the public with "Frammenti di un percorso teatrale", a tribute to workers and photographers of the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto.
"The exhibition Frammenti di un percorso teatrale is the first exhibition stage of a research process that in the coming years will reorganize the Festival's archives to bring to light documents, photographs, sketches, costumes and props that are real pieces of art made by the skilled hands of the workers who have followed one another from edition to edition".
"The exhibition intends to enhance the fundamental work of the artisans-artists without whom the festival would not have obtained the international prestige that has distinguished it. «This is a first eclectic survey of costumes selected from the thousands in the festival warehouse» - comments Piero Maccarinelli, curator of the exhibition - «which represents a preview of the work that will be more organically developed in the coming years for thematic cycles."
