The view is beautiful – The Haute Couture Italy 1945-1968 ' makes a stop in Monza. The retrospective on alta moda italiana, hosted in December 2014 the Maxxi in Rome, will occupy the spaces on the second floor of the Villa real from 24 September to January 10, 2016.
The exhibition will include, among others, evening dresses and day signed by Mila Schön, Valentino, Emilio Pucci, Jole Veneziani and the Fontana sisters. There will be a section dedicated to accessories which will be among the protagonists Gucci, Ferragamo and Feng.
The exhibition, curated by Maria Luisa Frisa and Stefano Tonchi Anna Mattirolo, will bring to the attention of visitors not only the finished dress, but also a selection of materials reflecting the importance of the textile industry for the Italian fashion. You can then look at the fabrics for some of the most important Italian textile manufacturers including Clerici Tessuto, Marzotto Group and Lanificio Zak.
