Escada has tapped Stephen Croncota as chief marketing officer, a newly created role, effective July 21.
Croncota will oversee all aspects of marketing and public relations, including advertising, promotion, trade marketing, licensing and e-commerce.
Previously, Croncota was chief marketing officer at Versace in Milan, and Haggar in the United States. He has also worked in media and entertainment, having served as head of marketing at E! Entertainment Television and Game Show Network.
Escada chairman Megha Mittal said that Croncota’s experience in the creative industries will “further enhance and focus our efforts to engage with our customer in exciting ways both online and off-line.”
