Franca Sozzani passed away at the age of 66 years.
The Italian Lady of fashion is dead in Milan today, 22 December, after an illness that lasted for a year. Born in Mantua in 1950, Sozzani began his career working for the magazine Vogue Bambini. In 1980 she became editor in Chief of her and three years later also the male version of the magazine to him. From 1988 he served as Director of Vogue Italy and by 2006 was also managing editor L'UOMO Vogue. In addition to fill these roles, Franca Sozzani was also Editorial Director of the publishing house Condé Nast for Italy.
In February 2010 launched the website Vogue.it, the first in the world in the name of fashion head. Subsequently entrusted to two other printed magazines: Vogue Gioiello and Vogue Accessory.
